Three weeks ago, Midwest Athletics and Sports Alliance LLC (“MASA”) teamed up with Ironhawk Juniors Triathlon Club for their Second Annual Ironhawk Juniors Tri Club. In attempt to support their second year, MASA is donating the following items:
400 helmets
160 bicycles
400 swim caps
400 goggles
25 swim suits
100 pairs of running shoes
With only one year under their belt, the Ironhawk Juniors Triathlon Club is off to a tremendous start. Over 200 girls participated in the First Annual Ironhawk Juniors Tri Club with every single one of the participants finishing the race. They are hoping to double their numbers in 2019, and MASA is excited to be able to help them with that goal.
Ironhawk Juniors Triathlon Club is a program designed to encourage girls between the ages of 8 and 14 to get involved with the conventionally exclusive sport of triathlon. It is a free 8-week program specifically designed by USA Triathlon Certified coaches. The workouts focus on swimming, biking, and running and encourages girls of all experience levels. In additional to training, they provide free bikes, helmets, goggles, and swim caps to those in need.
